In 2007, Hill's best friend contacted Pam on a dating app.  The chemistry was missing...but he had a lingering feeling Pam & his best friend Hill would hit it off.  

One day, Hill messaged Pam.  Unbeknownst to her (at first), Hill was friends with the guy she had spoken to previously.  

From the start, there was an undeniable connection.  We talked for hours every night.  Pam was still hesitant to meet in person, but she finally agreed. 

(random side note from Pam:  Our first date was the day after I graduated High School)

On the day of their date, Pam was planning to meet Hill after a scheduled job training.  No phones were allowed during the training, and it was running late...4 HOURS LATE. 

But Hill had a feeling there was something special about this girl, and his gut told him to wait it out.  And the rest is history.

WE'RE

Hill is such a warm & outgoing person.  He's the guy who's friendly with everyone.  He loves freely...he has kind eyes & a heart of gold.

Hill is FUN & full of adventure.  On the flip side, when the time calls for it, he's very much a cuddly teddy bear.

Hill would literally do ANYTHING to make me happy.  He is my calm, my life teammate & my absolute best friend.

Hill's a salesman in the wine industry, and works incredibly hard to provide for his family.  We're fortunate that his career allows for a flexible schedule, because I know that being an involved dad is very important to him. 

Hill loves all things sports.  He was so excited to coach soccer for Matthew last year, and t-ball now that it's spring.  I really admire him being such an active parent. 

I love watching Hill be a dad, and can't wait to watch him swell with absolute pride as our family grows again.

CAN'T BELIEVE HE'S ALREADY IN KINDERGARTEN

Matthew is a ball of love & energy.  He's our insatiably curious, super silly, endlessly imaginative 5-year-old.  Matthew started kindergarten full time this year, and so far he's loving reading & music (and lunch, hehe).

It makes Matthew so happy to make people laugh.  He's a social butterfly.  In his dream world, every day would be an outdoor exploring day.  Indoors, he loves building, baking/cooking with mommy & playing board games all together.

Matthew's little heart will burst with love & excitement when he receives the title "Big Brother," and he's so excited to help mommy & daddy with the baby (although he draws the line at changing poopy diapers).
